Katherine Quezada is a staff writer and photographer for the Santa Clarita Valley Signal, a local newspaper covering the third largest city in Los Angeles County. 

She covers various topics which include breaking news, crime, community events, features, and human interest pieces through written articles and photography.

Katherine formally interned for a nonprofit organization as a social media marketing assistant in Los Angeles and worked on amplifying untold stories through social media components to grow their audience. 

She received her bachelor’s degree from California State University, Dominguez Hills in journalism and strives to connect with people, share their stories, and convey their messages.
